Maratonul de Noapte @ Sibiu, 20 August ’11
Maratonul de Noapte este un proiect care isi propune organizarea unei curse atletice (42,125 km) in orasul Sibiu, in data de 20 August, incepand cu ora 21. Principalul scop al maratonului este strangerea de fonduri in vederea acordarii ?Bursei Pentru Romania?, unul dintre principalele proiecte dezvoltate de ASCER.
In lume se desfasoara aproximativ 800 de maratoane, iar acest eveniment include orasul Sibiu in cercul select al oraselor organizatoare de maraton cum sunt: Londra, New York, Viena, Bratislava etc.
Unicitatea acestui proiect consta in faptul ca la aceasta ora, nicaieri in Europa nu se desfasoara un astfel de maraton, la Sibiu fiind singura cursa de gen care se va desfasura pe timp de noapte.
In fiecare an se doreste ca aceasta competitie sa fie organizata sub patronajul unei persoane publice de renume.
Pe langa latura educativa si sociala a evenimentului, aceasta actiune va deschide noi perspective de interes pentru turistii care fie vor dori sa participe activ in cadrul competitiei, fie vor asista in calitate de spectatori.
Proiectul este gandit ca sa devina un etalon pentru orasul Sibiu, alaturi de alte evenimente de marca (Festivalul de Jazz, FITS, etc) organizatorii propunandu-si ca in urmatorii 3 ani atat numarul participantilor, cat si al spectatorilor sa inregistreze o crestere evidenta fata de prima editie.
Pentru prima editie se estimeaza participarea unui numar de 1000 de concurenti si 4000 de spectatori.
Cursa de maraton se adreseaza publicului larg. Distanta parcursa va fi de 42,195 km, cu un timp lipita de 5h 30min. Punctul de start va fi Sibiu, Piata Mare, 20 August 2011, ora 18:30. Taxa de inscriere, 50 de lei. Inscrierile se fac pana pe 15 August 2011, prin formularul online.
Traseul de half maraton este dedicat tot publicului larg, doar ca acesta masoara 21,095 km. Punctul de start este tot Piata Mare, pe 20 August, ora 18:30, iar taxa de inscriere, tot 50 de lei. Cursa va trebui finalizata intr-un timp limita de 3 ore. Inscrierile se fac din 15 August pana in 20 August la punctele de informare din Piata Mare.
Cursa Copiilor este dedicata copiilor cu varste cuprinse intre 6 si 12 ani, traseul masoara 2,5 km, iar taxa de inscriere este de 25 de lei. Startul se va da pe 20 August, ora 12:00, in Parcul Sub Arini. Inscrierile se fac in ziua concursului, pe 20 August, intre 09:00 si 11:00, in Parcul Sub Arini.
Cursa Veteranilor se adreseaza persoanelor peste 50 de ani. Este vorba de un traseu de 4 km. Startul se va da pe 20 August, ora 19:30, in Piata Mare din Sibiu, iar taxa de inscriere este de 25 de lei. Inscrierile se pot face de pe 15 August pana pe 20 August, la punctele de informare din Piata Mare.
