Balea WHOPE @ Cabana Paltinu, 30 Martie – 1 Aprilie ’12

Am aflat de la colegii ce se dau pe derdelus ca avem parte si anul asta de Balea WHOPE la Cabana Paltinu! Schiorii si boarderii vor avea ocazia sa isi dea in petec impreuna, unind triburile si facand flip-uri impreuna.

Intalnirea se intampla in paralel cu The Gambler unde se duc alti maniaci in ale vitezei :)

Este clar ca lumina lunii, avem a treia editie de Balea WHOPE, 30 martie – 1 aprilie. Si nu, nu este pacaleala, chiar de este 1 aprilie 😉

Serbam deci un final de sezon fantastic si ridicam ode zeitei Whope. Ne intilnim cu mic cu mare, skieri si boarderi intru celebrarea prieteniei intre triburi. Nu conteaza cit de lung ai parul, nu conteaza de esti jibber gimnast ori triatlonist otelit, freerider ori freestyler… It’s only about the f*cking fun iar skierii iubeshte boarderii, evident.

Gazda ne va fi, ca si in anii trecuti, Cabana Paltinu, in intregime rezervata. (pentru inscrieri, drop a line @[contact la snowpatrol pct ro]; specificati numele si ziua in care ajungeti). 
Oficial, treaba incepe sambata, 31 martie. Neoficial, daca veniti de vineri sau chiar de joi, noi vom fi deja acolo, sa aprindem focul.

The Gambler @ Muntii Fagaras, 31 Martie ’12

To keep up the tradition and natural development of freeriding, we organise a competition with a descent of at least 2 kms of unmarked territory.
After a mass start, the riders struggle together all the way to the finish. The winners of each class go home with all the money collected at start with the symbolic participation fee.
They also obtain WILDCARDS for CAMPIONATUL NATIONAL de FREERIDE.
Gambling and winning in altitude…. The whole event is a full day of emotions and share based on fun and adventure. The excitement of the race, the thrill of the descent, rewarded through the friends you make around the grill put a smile on every face. Dedicated to our good friend M.C

Un hybrid surf-snowboard

“California-based Signal Snowboards recently fulfilled the dreams of board sports enthusiasts everywhere in its “Every Third Thursday” Web series by building a hybrid board capable of surfing both waves and powder stashes. If you think that the board can’t possibly shred on both water and snow proficiently, Signal took it to the beach and mountains to prove it.”

Piatra de Zapada @ Piatra Neamt, 17-19 Februarie ’12

“Cupa de Ski si Snowboard se va desfasura pe pârtia Cozla din Piatra Neamt,  la start fiind asteptati atât amatori cât si sportivi profesionisti. Sunt admisi în  competitie copii cu vârste începând de la patru ani si adultii de orice vârsta.

Premii :

Locul – I    skipass 2 zile + produse furnizate de partenerii evenimentului
Locul – II   ski pass 1 zi + produse furnizate de partenerii evenimentului
Locul – III  ski pass 1 zi + produse furnizate de partenerii evenimentului
În functie de partenerii pe care îi vom avea, ne propunem sa premiem, de la fiecare categorie, primii 5 clasati”

Burn presents Human / Machines
